CURRENT VINTAGE 2004

Overview
2004 was an exceptional vintage which not only demonstrated high quality but also exceptional character. A cool wet winter and changeable spring preceded an excellent summer with occasional rain. These highly favourable climate condtions are reflected in this wine where the warmth of summer sunshine is tempered with the crispness of autumn nights.

Elegance and persistence of flavour are the key factors
Colour - Light straw with a gentle golden hue. Pristine clarity and a fine, persistent bead further enhances the aesthetics of this wine.
Bouquet - White stone fruit aromas of cool climate Chardonnay complimented by a hint of lifted truffle and mushroom underpinned by yeast complexity.
Palate - Elegance and persistence of flavour are the key factors. Fine, soft and complex. Finishes dry with a crisp natural acid finish.
